Practicals

You can find all the practicals and their supplementary information within this section. Practicals will only appear as needed - the relevent practical for each week will be made available on the Monday before the practical to allow you to prepare for the practical later in the week. Once done the practicals will remain online as a reference for you should you need them. Each LAN practical will require you to complete three broad components:

  1. An investigation into the biological/ecological relationships discussed by each practical’s model.
  2. A manipulation of the underlying code for a particular model in order to produce a desired output.
  3. An application of the model of interest to a real world ecological/conservation management problem.
